Ku-ring-gai Alpine Lodge

Welcome to Ku-ring-gai Alpine Lodge.
Accommodation for members and guests since 1962.

The lodge was built in the summer of 1961-62 and opened on the June long weekend of 1962. It accommodates members and their accompanied guests in a communal ski-lodge atmosphere unique to Perisher Valley. The Lodge has a well-equipped communal kitchen and comfortable lounge with fireplace.

Well positioned for skiers, it has ski-in ski-out access to the Perisher Valley network of lifts. Originally with accommodation for 14, it has been extensively upgraded several times since inception, and now has comfortable accommodation for 23.

Staying at Ku-ring-gai Alpine Lodge

The lodge is located 400m from the Skitube terminal, and winter guests can either walk from the terminal or take Oversnow transport with luggage right to the front door. Summer guests can drive right to the lodge.

Winter accommodation is usually organised on a weekly basis with a Sunday changeover day.

There are 9 rooms and 7 bathrooms, with bed linen provided during winter.

The ski room and drying room are conveniently located at the level entry area.

A recently renovated lounge and fireplace is the focus for relaxation over pre-dinner drinks and snacks after the day skiing.

Some non-perishable foods are provided and guests either bring perishables or purchase from the supermarket in the valley. A large kitchen allows several groups to prepare meals simultaneously.
